Ellie Simpkin owner and operator of Elliegance Mobile Makeup is a local Mackay/Sarina based freelance makeup artist with 5 years experience in the industry.

 

Makeup was not a natural career path for Ellie who grew up in the country on a cattle farm west of Sarina. The interest sparked when she met and married her truck driver husband and had to organise makeup for her own wedding. Inspired by a whole new world of creativity, smoky eyes and the convenience of a makeup artist coming to you on your big day, Ellie was keen to ‘have a go’ and there were endless volunteers along the way!

 

Graduating from the Napoleon Perdis Makeup Academy, Ellie offers both traditional and airbrush makeup applications. Ellie believes that achieving a flawless look helps by using amazing brands such as Napoleon, Velbella and Ardell.

 

Ellie is very passionate about her work and loves to help others feel good about themselves, finding the job very rewarding.

 

In her downtime Ellie enjoys spending time with her children and husband living life on their farm west of Mackay.
